Visitors will learn about the zoo’s efforts in wildlife conservation and its role in caring for rehabilitated endangered species. You can explore various trails at Taronga Zoo, including the Australian Walkabout, Kid’s Trail, Reptile World, and the African Savannah. Although the Big Cats Trail no longer exists, there are still plenty of exciting areas to discover. At Taronga Conservation Society Australia, we believe wildlife and humans can coexist and share the planet. We are dedicated to protecting the world’s wildlife, not only for today but for future generations. Our commitment to conservation science extends both in Australia and around the world. We collaborate with universities, governments, and conservation partners to tackle challenges facing wildlife. In addition to our scientific efforts, Taronga Zoo offers educational programs to inspire young people to become leaders in global conservation. The zoo receives support from the NSW Government and the Taronga Foundation, which was established in 2000 to raise funds for conservation, education, and wildlife care.

Little Hilly
The zoo is hilly, but there are a lot of ramps for wheelchair access or strollers. Great place to take your family or do a solo trip. Also, there are water fountains and bathrooms everywhere, good for every age group

we had such a great time at the zoo, kids loved the cuteness of animals like giraffes and specially the birds section. booking through JTR is recommended; they also offered me some discount with a large family group.
