Do I need a visa to visit Dubai?

It depends on your nationality, you may or may not need a visa to enter the country. Because for some countries there is no need of visas such as Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. While some countries particularly UK, USA, and Australia, will get visa on arrival. However, a visa is mandatory for people who do not fall under any of the above categories.

What is the dress code in Dubai?

During the summer months (April to September), loose, cotton clothing is recommended. On the other hand, for your winter trip to Dubai, you must have a light jacket. In Dubai, the dress code is quite liberal; most normal clothing is tolerated provided it is modest and not too outrageous. However, With respect to the underlying values of modesty, it is best to remain covered from shoulder to at least below the knees.

If you are visiting a Mosque, one is required to follow the recommended dress code. One should wear modest, conservative, loose-fitting clothing, long sleeves, long skirts, and trousers. Women are required to wear the traditional dress (abaya) and headscarf (Shayla) before entering the mosques.

Is it allowed to consume alcohol in Dubai?
