The Louvre Abu Dhabi is an art and civilization museum, located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The museum was inaugurated on 8 November 2017 by French President Emmanuel Macron and United Arab Emirates Vice President Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The iconic Louvre Abu Dhabi is the first universal museum in the Arab World that translates the spirit of openness of cultures. As one of the premier cultural institutions located in the heart of the Saadiyat Cultural District, the art-lovers dream displays the works of historical, cultural and sociological significance from ancient times to the contemporary era. Designed by Pritzker-prize-winning architect Jean Nouvel, the Louvre Abu Dhabi encompasses 9,200 sq. m of galleries including the Permanent Gallery and a Temporary Gallery that is enriched by loans from many notable French museums including Musee du Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, and Centre Pompidou.

Abu Dhabi is the capital of the United Arab Emirates and the second largest city in the Emirates after Dubai. Abu Dhabi Tour is a full-day tour which covers all major landmarks. The main attractions of the Abu Dhabi Tour are Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque which is the largest Mosque in UAE and the eighth-largest Mosque in the world. The other famous attraction is the Abu Dhabi Corniche, Emirates Palace one of the luxurious hotels, the Presidential Palace, the Heritage Village, Abu Dhabi Marina Mall, Dates Market, Saadiyat Island, Yas Island, and Ferrari World.

Key Things to Know Before You Book:

• Everyone must carry the Original Passport while travelling.
• The duration of the tour includes both pickup and drop-off timings as well.
• Opening time of mosque: 9 AM to 8 PM (every day) & 5 PM - 8 PM (Fridays).
• During Ramadan 2024: Till 20th Ramadan 10 AM to 6 PM & 9:30 PM to 1 AM (Saturday to Thursday)  3 PM to 6 PM & 9:30 PM to 1 AM on (Friday)
• Last 10 Ramadan 10 AM to 6 PM (Saturday to Thursday) 3 PM to 6 PM (Friday)
• The mosque is closed to tourists on certain dates and is usually communicated by the authorities only a few days through prior notice. 
• The Grand Mosque remains closed during any Islamic festival, as per UAE law.
• Women must wear long loose clothing, ensuring their arms and legs are fully covered with headcover all the time. For the mosque visit, the company provides a long, local abaya with a scarf (long black dress attire) for women if needed, must be returned. Men must not show above their knees and cover their shoulders, covering tattoos. Failure to do so will result in refusal of entry. The company does not provide any kind of clothes to men.
• Louvre Time for Ramadan 2024: 10 AM to 6:30 PM (Tuesday to Thursday) 10 AM to 8:30 PM Friday to Sunday
• Louvre Abu Dhabi shall remain closed on Mondays. 
• Two hours (120 minutes) is set aside for the Louvre Museum Abu Dhabi visit.
• Please note that lunch is not included in this tour. You will get the opportunity to buy food along the way, or you are welcome to bring some snacks with you. Please note that eating in the mosque or museum is prohibited, so please plan for eating before or after these visits. The Louvre has a lovely cafeteria where you can buy lunch if you wish. 
• Tour duration is fixed for all tours/activities, but it may vary depending on the city traffic.
• This tour is not wheelchair accessible, but if anyone in your group has any physical disabilities, please get in touch and we can customize a private trip.
• Infants join for free if they do not occupy a seat.
• Pickup and drop off can be done in 7, 14, 30, 35 or 50-seater vehicle depending on number of guests. 
• English Speaking Driver Cum Guide for 6 or less than 6 guest bookings. 
• Driver + English Speaking Guide for a group of more than 6 guests.

Cancellation Policy:

• Cancel up to 24 hours in advance to receive a full refund, except (transfer charges will apply).
• Cancellations less than 24 hours in advance or no show will be 100% charged. 
• The refund amount will be credited back to the same card used for booking 
• In the event of poor weather conditions or other external factors out of our reasonable control, the activity/tour may be cancelled at short notice, without any charges being applied to the guest. In such cases, the tour/activity can be rescheduled or a full refund will be processed.
