Al Seef Street Creekside - Dubai

Located near the iconic Dubai Creek, Al Seef is making its mark on Dubai’s heritage district. Beautiful traditions combine with modern designs at this new destination, as the city showcases an inspiring partnership between its proud past and bright future. Here’s our guide to explore Al Seef.

Water views

Launched in late 2017, Al Seef celebrates Dubai Creek’s beginnings as the famous coastal pearl-diving base. Hugging 1.8km of the Dubai Creek’s stately shoreline, the 2.5 million square foot development has two sections – a heritage area featuring old architecture, which then blends into a second space featuring more contemporary structures.

History & heritage

Al Seef places a strong emphasis on the region’s proud heritage and presents forward-thinking elements that showcase the area’s natural beauty. Dotted with wind towers and sandstone buildings, a stroll through the old-world district and its charming sikkas or alleyways will offer a glimpse of past Dubai life.

Delicious dining

Interconnected paths lead visitors along the stunning waterway, with options for a casual family meal, romantic dinner or elegant catch-ups all on the menu for visitors. Café culture abounds, with the vast majority of waterfront restaurants offering seasonal al fresco seating.

Stylish shopping

Al Seef is also home to myriad shopping concepts situated throughout the development, with something to satisfy every style. Savvy shoppers can pick up trendy handbags available at Geneva London and customized jewellery at Wired Up at this accessories haven.

hotels

Fancy a room with a view? Al Seef is also home to two new hotels, with a total of 550 rooms and suites. Zabeel House by Jumeirah is the first hotel in Jumeirah’s new ‘Upscale-Casual’ collection. Think design-led spaces and comfy rooms with just enough added extras, and welcoming and unobtrusive staff, plus a must-visit rooftop pool.
