Historic Village Herberton is open daily with different hours depending on the season: from mid-March to mid-October, it’s open 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with last entry at 3:30 PM, and from February to mid-March plus mid-October to Christmas Eve, it’s open 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM with last entry at 2:30 PM (subject to change — please confirm at time of booking).
Yes, children aged 0-3 years enter for free, and the village is suitable for children from 4 years upwards, as well as adults. There’s plenty to explore for all ages, but younger kids should be supervised due to uneven terrain.

Wear sturdy walking shoes as the village features uneven and sometimes slippery surfaces. Bringing a hat, sunscreen, and water is also a good idea since much of the site is outdoors.
