Visitors will learn about the zoo’s efforts in wildlife conservation and its role in caring for rehabilitated endangered species. Although the Big Cats Trail no longer exists, there are still plenty of exciting areas to discover. We are dedicated to protecting the world’s wildlife, not only for today but for future generations. Our commitment to conservation science extends both in Australia and around the world. You can book your Taronga Zoo Sydney tickets easily online on this website. Just select your preferred date and ticket type during checkout to secure your admission.
Taronga Zoo is open from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm in summer (September to April) and from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm in winter (May to August) (subject to change — please confirm at time of booking).
Children aged 0-16 must be accompanied by a paying adult, and children aged 4-15 require a ticket. The zoo is not recommended for pregnant women or very young toddlers.
Bring comfortable walking shoes, sun protection, water, and your pre-booked ticket. Note that outside food, alcohol, animals, and certain items like bikes or balloons are not allowed inside the zoo.
Tickets for Taronga Zoo are strictly non-refundable and cannot be canceled, so please be sure of your plans before booking.

Little Hilly

The zoo is hilly, but there are a lot of ramps for wheelchair access or strollers. Great place to take your family or do a solo trip. Also, there are water fountains and bathrooms everywhere, good for every age group
