Things To Know
- A passport copy is required for all tourists.
- ID copy is required for all residents.
- Soft or hard copies are accepted for both residents and tourists.
- The duration of the tour includes both pick up and drop off timings as well.
- Pick up within the first 30 to 45 minutes of your booked time and drop off is based on your hotel location and the city traffic.
- Pick up from outside the city location will be advised to near location.
- Due to heavy traffic in the Rove Marina and Wyndham Dubai Marina areas at the time of pick up, we request that you come to the Stella Di Mare Hotel for an easy pickup within a few minutes' walking distances.
- Please wear sports shoes for safe sandboarding.
- You can wear light clothes during summer season and long clothes with jackets during winter. You always need to carry a towel for personal use at night.
- It is recommended not to eat 2 to 3 hours before the safari to avoid any vomiting/ sickness during dune bashing.
- During the Holy month of Ramadan, you will be entertained by Tanoura and Fire shows in our desert camp (Al Khayma) as there will be some restrictions for "Ladies Khaliji Dance". On other religious holidays, there will not be any entertainment activities in the camps as per the UAE law. The dates shall be announced by the government authorities a few days/weeks prior to the event/day.
- By UAE law, pregnant ladies and infants (under 3 years old) are not allowed during the dune bashing activity by car. (If these conditions are applicable to you, please contact our Consultant to customize your tour). Also, please note that this tour is not wheelchair accessible.
- Please note that if your skin is sensitive to henna, it is advised not to do it.
- Luggage is not allowed to be taken during the tour, only a small backpack is allowed.
- It is not recommended to carry expensive items. Your belongings are your own responsibility and OceanAir is not responsible for any lost belongings during the trip. We will, of course, do our best to help you out if an item is lost.
- We assure you that all our desert Safari Captains are well trained and licensed as safari drives. The entire fleet of 4WD Vehicles are fully insured and well equipped with the needed safety facilities such as Roll Bars, Seat Belts, Government Tracker, GPS, GMS, First Aid Box, etc.
- This tour is not wheelchair accessible, but if anyone in your group has any physical disabilities, please get in touch and we will do our best to accommodate.
- We recommend you have international travel insurance as self driving activities are prone to risk, leading to serious injury & is covered only by your insurance companies.
- Quad biking is a self driving activity to be taken at your own risk and the company’s insurance does not cover it.
- JTR Holidays accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, accident, sickness, injury or death that you or anyone else may suffer or incur arising out of the activities and/or in connection with your contract with us and/or the operator of any activities. You are advised to have comprehensive travel and health insurance. All personal effects are at your sole risk at all times during the activity. Cancellation Policy
- Cancel up to 24 hours in advance to receive a refund, except (transfer charges will apply).
- Cancellation less than 24 hours in advance or no show will be 100% charged.
- The refund amount will be credited back to the same card used for booking
- In the event of poor weather conditions or other external factors out of our reasonable control, the activity/tour may be canceled at short notice, without any charges being applied to the guest. In such cases, the tour/activity can be re-scheduled or a refund will be processed (transfer charges will apply).
