Travel back in time at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library & Museum in Yorba Linda and learn about one of the most complicated presidencies in US history. The museum is a rich memoir of the period, housing 70 major exhibits, one-of-a-kind multi-media experiences, 11 original films, 12 digital interactives, 10 archival film sequences, over 600 photographs, 8,000 square feet of wall murals and more than 300 artifacts. You can follow Richard Nixon’s life from his 1910s farmhouse birthplace in rural Yorba Linda, which still has its original furnishings, to his room in the White House and his study at La Casa Pacifica. The visit begins in the Marlene and Fred Malek Theater with a multi-media introduction to Nixon’s 50-year career in public service, and ends with a walk through a replica of the White House East Room, the largest room in the Executive Mansion. Other highlights include a full-size replica of the Oval Office and Marine One, the presidential helicopter that carried Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon and Ford on their travels.
