A Taste of Traditional England

This tour gave us exactly what we were hoping for — pretty villages, old stone buildings and a slower pace than London. The guide was excellent and gave us enough free time to explore. I really enjoyed Bourton-on-the-Water and the little bridges over the stream. Booking through JTR was also very smooth, with quick replies whenever we had a question.

Very Peaceful Experience

A really relaxing day away from the city. I particularly liked Stow-on-the-Wold because it had some lovely little shops and felt less crowded. The villages all had their own character. Lunch was good and the guide made the journey interesting. JTR's support was also excellent and very quick whenever we contacted them.

Loved Bourton-on-the-Water

Bourton-on-the-Water was my personal favourite. The little bridges and stream running through the village make it feel completely different from anywhere else I've visited. The other villages were beautiful too, especially Bibury. A very enjoyable countryside day.

Worth the Full Day

It's a full day, but there was plenty to see and the time passed quickly. Each village looked different, which kept the tour interesting. Stow-on-the-Wold had some great little antique shops, while Bibury was more about the scenery. JTR's customer service was a nice bonus — they were quick to respond when I needed clarification about the tour.
