Fascinating day out
Dover Castle was much bigger than I expected and there was so much to explore. The Great Tower and the wartime tunnels were the highlights for me. Definitely worth allowing several hours for the visit.

Beautiful views and lots to explore
Really impressive castle with fantastic views from the higher parts of the site. There are plenty of areas to walk around and discover, so comfortable shoes are definitely a good idea. We had a great day here.

Worth making the trip
Dover Castle is a proper full-day attraction with a lot more to see than just the main castle. The medieval areas were fascinating, but the WWII exhibitions and tunnels were my favourite part. The views were an added bonus.
